Our newest brewery, Calusa Brewing, is hosting a big summer party and beer release this weekend.
Celebrate July Fourth a day early at the Hail to the Heat Extravaganza. It starts at 3 p.m. Sunday at the brewery: 5701 Derek Ave. in Sarasota.
Calusa will be releasing EZ Company, their new pale ale, and a Sour Porter.
The Big John's Texas BBQ and Goodfellas Pizza foods trucks will be there, along with three local bands (Summer Survivors, NoNeed and Cliz) starting at 6 p.m. Create Bakery will be pairing desserts with beer inside.
